Andrea Ratto is an Italian photographer (Genoa, 1976) living in Spain. Over the last few years, he has organized his work around various photographic projects. From the moment of the first idea to publication, he will talk to us, according to his personal experience, about the steps that must be followed to be able to complete a project.

In 2018 he published the photo book Europa where he analyzed European society with a journey through 26 countries of the old continent. In 2020 he published the fanzine "Lavapiés" with the collaboration of sociologist Marta Morán, a work that describes the gentrification process in the Madrid neighbourhood of Lavapiés with photographs and text. He is currently working on various series including "Road to Nowhere" where he explores abandoned areas in the interior of different countries.

Andrea Ratto é un fotografo italiano (Genova, 1976) residente in Spagna. Durante gli ultimi anni ha organizzato il suo lavoro intorno a vari progetti fotografici. Dal momento della prima idea alla pubblicazione.

Ci parlerà, secondo la sua esperienza personale, dei passi che bisogna seguire per riuscire a portare a termine un progetto.

Nel 2018 ha pubblicato il fotolibro "Europa" dove ha analizzato la società europea con un viaggio attraverso 26 paesi del vecchio continente. Nel 2020 ha pubblicato la fanzine "Lavapiés" con la collaborazione della sociologa Marta Morán, lavoro che descrive con fotografie e testo il processo di gentrificazione del quartiere madrileño di Lavapiés.

Attualmente sta lavorando a varie series tra le quali "Road to Nowhere" dove esplora zone abbandonate nell'interiore di differenti paesi.
