London, September 17th and Liverpool, September 18th
Hi guys!
On the Tuesday of my English week, I started out by meeting my Swedish Friends Anders Johansson and his wife Kate. We met up at Tate Modern and went on a nice walk that took us to Borough Market. The market was so packed, that we quickly abandoned our plans for lunch there. Found a café a block away instead. After lunch we went our separate ways a while and I found some nice shooting in the great summery weather.
In the evening we met up again, adding one more friend, Fredrik Eriksson, who had finished work. We had a Kansas City style barbeque dinner in a nice Soho restaurant.
Very early on Wednesday morning, I got up and took a bus to Euston Station and caught a train to Liverpool. After 3 hours on trains (a quick change at Crewe) my dear friend Keef Charles was there to meet me at the station. At first, the weather was grey and quite cold. We felt the need to go inte a budget clothing store and got matching woolly sweaters!
The shooting felt a bit slow in the uninteresting light, but after a nice pasta lunch, the sun came out and off went the sweaters.
It was really nice to meet Keef again, 17 months after we said goodbye at Doha airport after our time together in India!
And the street shooting even turned out to be pretty good in the end!
Keef had also had an early start and left for home at around 6-7pm. My train wasn't until 8:50, so I had a bit of a wait before the 3 hour trip. Back at home at 00:30 I was pretty exhausted!
